Carol has been coaching voice, acting and powerful communication with groups and individuals for 12 years. She previously worked as an actor/singer in theatre and television, and as a visiting lecturer in acting and voice in Higher Education. She is an M.A. - qualified voice coach, specialising in personal impact, presentations and public speaking, team communication and confidence-building.
She has worked in all sectors, and at all levels of organisations, including finance, media, government departments and retail. Her work as a voice coach with professional actors includes ‘Shameless’ and ‘Skins’ - Channel 4, ‘The Jury’ - BBC, and ‘The Worst Witch’ - Granada Television, and on productions at Contact Theatre and Manchester Royal Exchange.
She is also a Visiting Lecturer for Central School of Speech and Drama Short course and Business Unit (Central Connects); a coach/actor with Performance of a Lifetime, acting and facilitating sessions for Chanel and coaching for Amex, and a facilitator for Different Dynamics.
She has taught voice, text and acting in FE and HE institutions such as Arden School of Theatre, Bolton College, Manchester Metropolitan University, Mountview School of Theatre, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Salford College, Salford University and Stoke FE College.
